Hi, I’m Jamie!

I have been teaching piano and singing for a year now, with a background as a pianist working in musical theatre and accompanying. I particularly love teaching piano through improvisation and theory.

I have been playing piano since I was 4 and I have a particular love for jazz piano.

I originally trained as a chorister, and later choral scholar at Ely Cathedral where I gained a passion for singing and music theory. I expanded this interest from exploring musical theatre, working and training as a Musical Director under Jennifer Edmonds (Head of Singing at Urdang Academy). In my time working with award winning Cambridge Theatre Company, I musically directed multiple youth productions, as well as other adult amateur productions in the Cambridge area.

In 2025 I Musically directed the Dorking halls panto with Enchanted Theatre productions, before going on to teach singing and piano with B Sharp Studios and Putney Music School.

Outside of Musical Directing and teaching, I works for the immersive sound experience “In The Dark”, soon to embark on its first UK tour, and as a vocal librarian for “The Rock Orchestra”, which is going into its 3rd year of touring internationally.
