More about Emily:
Hi there!
My name is Emily and I am a musician originally from Hereford and Worcester.
I love helping students discover and explore their love of music. I hold a DipABRSM in Vocal Teaching and have completed the Kodály Foundation course. I am working towards being a teacher-assessor for the ABRSM Music Medals examinations.
I completed a Master of Performance in Singing at the Royal College of Music and have a particular interest in music written by female composers as well as folk music of the British Isles. Previously, I studied in Switzerland and Italy as well as the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
I have performed with organisations such as Welsh National Youth Opera, British Youth Opera and Opera Holland Park. I have worked in outreach with Welsh National Opera, the British Council and BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
As a Chorus member and scholar I have performed with BBC National Chorus of Wales and the Philharmonia Chorus in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall.
I look forward to our first lesson together!
