This entitles you to a 3 week trial for Putney Youth Choir. Lessons must be taken in consecutive weeks according to our term dates. If you choose to continue after your three week trial, pricing will follow our regular pricing.
Who are we?
Putney Youth Choir is a 40 strong group of young singers aged 5-16. We work on our singing technique, learn about music theory, play games and work towards concerts and performances. Members have been accepted to the GB National Youth Choir, Royal Opera House Children’s Chorus, Sylvia Young Theatre School, and both Westminster School and St Paul’s School as choristers.
The choir is led by singing teacher and musical director Jamie Layfield.
What do we sing?
We sing music from different cultures and faiths, show tunes, classical music and lots more. We’ve currently working on a Sound of Music medley, ‘For Good’ from the musical Wicked and ‘When you believe’ from the Prince of Egypt. We have just given a sell-out performance of the musical ‘Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’.
When do we rehearse?
Rehearsals are during term time on Mondays at Granard Primary School in Putney.

Putney Youth Choir Seniors - 5-6.30pm - Year 2 - Year 11
What does it cost?
Standard membership per session is £10 for Junior Choir, £12 for Senior Choir. uniform is compulsory after your first three sessions (£40)
